Nature conservation work as practical nature conservation
Management plans and species action plans provide for activities to improve and/or preserve the condition of the protected natural objects and protected species. In addition to inventories, studies and monitoring, it may be necessary to carry out various practical activities. These are nature conservation works organised by the Environmental Board.
The Environmental Board orders the following nature conservation work:
- Maintenance of natural monuments
- Maintenance of parks
- Species conservation work
- Landscape maintenance and opening of views
- Milling of semi-natural biotic communities
- Animal transport for the maintenance of islets/small islands

No calls for proposals have been opened at the moment.
The organisation of nature conservation work is carried out in accordance with the relevant procedures and principles.
Submission of a tender
In order to carry out nature conservation work, a tenderer has to fill in a price offer form and submit it to the Environmental Board. The name of the work, the tender is made for, should be clearly pointed out.
The tender should include all costs related to the performance of the work. If the cost of work is higher than EUR 5,000, the calculation of the cost of the work by expenditure items (e.g. wage cost, cost of work equipment, etc.) should also be added.

A committee formed by the Director General of the Environmental Board reviews the submitted tenders within 3 weeks as of the deadline for submission of tenders and makes proposals for ordering or not ordering the work.
Instructions for using the map application
- You do not need to sign in to view the map application.
- The "+" and "-" buttons on the upper left side of the map window can be used for zooming the map in and out.
- When clicking "Content" on the left side of the page, "LHT_2021_2" appears. There is a small table icon under it - when you click on the icon, a list of works with additional information appears under the map. We also recommend that you simultaneously look at the table of works to be ordered.
- The opened table can be sorted by counties.
- Once you have found the job you are interested in, click on its line once and choose "Place in the selected spot" from the three-line icon on the top right edge of the table. This will show the limits of the work, you are interested in, in the map window.
