African swine fever (ASF) was first found in wild boars in Estonia in 2014.
The disease is characterized by fever, bleeding, inflammatory changes in organs and high mortality (up to 100% of animals).
Other animal species and people do not become ill with the African swine fever but they can transmit the virus.
THE MONTHLY HUNTING DATA OF WILD BOARS MUST BE SENT TO A HUNTING SPECIALIST IN THE COUNTY.
