Hunting rights

A person has the right to hunt if he or she has valid documents certifying the hunting rights and he or she has paid the fee for the hunting rights.

As of 1 October 2009, documents certifying the hunting rights are issued by the Estonian Hunters' Society and its member organisations.

Documents certifying the hunting rights are:

  • Hunting certificate
  • Hunting permit
  • A list of persons participating in a hunt (required only for a collective hunt)
  • A shooting test certificate for big game
  • A shooting test certificate for bow hunting (required only for bow hunting).

Fee for the hunting rights is EUR 10 per year.

The fee can be paid on the website jahiluba.ee  or by mobile phone.
