  • In the case of a fishing card valid for up to one month, the catching data is submitted within five days after the expiry of the fishing card.
  • The fishing report of a fishing card valid for more than one month is submitted within five days as of the end of each calendar month.

Important

A fishing report must also be submitted if you did not go fishing or no catch was not obtained during fishing. In this case, the quantity of catch is marked as zero in the report.

Failure to submit fishing data may result in a fine and as of 1 January 2018, a person who has not submitted the data is refused a new fishing card if he or she has failed to submit fishing data in the year preceding the submission of the application. Fishing data can also be submitted retroactively.

How to submit a report?

There are several ways to submit a report. You have to choose one of them.

  • You can submit fishing data electronically on the website   kalaluba.ee
  • You can also submit a fishing report in the Environmental Board on the spot or send it as a registered letter by post to one of the following addresses:

Fishing in inland waters: Aleksandri 14, 51004 Tartu;

Fishing from the sea:  Kõrgessaare mnt 18, 92412 Kärdla.

A separate report sheet must be submitted for each fishing card. Make sure to check that the correct fishing card number is written on the page. In case of the wrong number, it is not possible to identify which fishing card the data was provided for, and therefore, the data may be as not submitted.
