Risk analyses of emergencies
A state has to be constantly ready for emergencies. One of the best ways for it is to prepare risk analyses in cooperation with different agencies in which specific emergencies are mentioned, the probability and consequences thereof are analysed and measures necessary either for preventing the emergencies or alleviating the consequences thereof are set out.
In cooperation with many other agencies, the Environmental Board shall prepare and update the risk analyses of the following emergencies:
- extensive inland environmental pollution;
- extensive coastal pollution;
- radiological accident with internal cause;
- nuclear accident with cross-border spread.
